FRP Bridge Deck for a Pedestrian Bridge on a Parade Ground
We wanted to show off this FRP Bridge Deck reference: The new pedestrian bridge on Paradeplatz in Germersheim, Germany. The FRP Bridge Deck pedestrian bridge not only serves as a modern entrance to a busy landmark, but also makes a wonderful contribution to the classic environment thanks to the combination of steel and FRP.

FRP Bridge Decking met non-slip coating
Interaction between steel and FRP
We built the bridge sections for Paradeplein in 2018 in cooperation with a Lower Saxon contractor who has extensive experience with large steel construction projects. The collaboration, led by Alderman Dr. Hofmann, resulted in a stunning interaction between steel and FRP Bridge Decking.
krafton® 500.40 bridge decking plank
The FRP Bridge Deck, type krafton® 500.40, with non-slip coating, consists of a TÜV certified non-slip coating, and proof on slip resistance based on classes R12 and R13.
German solidity from the Netherlands
To conclude the project, krafton® organised a seminar in Germersheim, Germany, where Alderman Dr. Hofmann enthusiastically introduced the new FRP bridge to the audience in attendance.
